The 50mm Stainless Steel Weepa Weep Vent is a former used in the construction of new masonry walls by builders and bricklayers. Created with premium marine grade 316 stainless steel, this special size creates fully functioning weep holes in 500mm high bricks commonly known as ‘roman’ or ‘split’ bricks. The luxurious finish protects against pests and promotes cavity ventilation.

Applications
Provide weep holes to NCC:2019 Building Code of Australia Clause 3.3.5.9, in the form of 50mm Stainless Steel Weepa (Product Code 20-SSSW) for Level BAL-LOW, BAL-A12.5, BAL-A19 BAL-A29, BAL-A40 and BAL-FZ construction in bushfire prone areas as defined in AS3959:2018, in perpends to external leaves of cavity walls in the course directly above damp proof courses, flashing and cavity fill, and at the bottom of infill cavity. Spacing: not to exceed 1200 mm.
Note: Designs for damper climates and air conditioned buildings could consider closer spacing for greater airflow and drier cavities.
