The 70mm Weepa Weep Vent is a former designed for shallower weep holes and is used by builders or bricklayers in the construction of new masonry walls and rendered lightweight cladding. This size is popular for use in buildings that use ‘Kiwi Brick’. This product creates a functional weep hole with a clean and attractive finish. It promotes excellent drainage and ventilation while preventing the entry of pests.

How to install the 70mm Weepa

Applications
Provide weep holes to NCC:2019 Building Code of Australia Clause 3.3.5.9, in the form of 70 mm Weepa (Product Code 13-NAPW) in perpends to external leaves of cavity walls in the course directly above damp proof courses, flashing and cavity fill, and at the bottom of infill cavity. Spacing: not to exceed 1200 mm. Note: Designs for damper climates and air conditioned buildings could consider closer spacing for greater airflow and drier cavities.
